•               Kycon will offer our full product line in compliance with the RoHS requirements per Directive 2002/95/EC before the July 2006 deadline. We are currently releasing RoHS compliant parts by series. Our goal is to have the majority of our product line available in RoHS compliant status by July 2005. Kycon may already have RoHS compliant parts which are not currently identified on the web and encourages customers to check with our sales department for specific requests. If you cannot find the RoHS compliant part number corresponding to an existing non-RoHS part number through our web cross reference section, please contact your Kycon sales person to confirm availability.

 

•               Kycon will be changing part numbers for easy identification of RoHS compliant parts versus traditional product offering. For those parts which were RoHS compliant before the requirements were introduced we will still change the part number to reflect RoHS compliant in keeping with our overall part numbering system.

 

•               In some cases the traditional parts will no longer be available. All RoHS parts are compatible with existing soldering methods and utilizing a RoHS compliant part in leaded solder processes should not be an issue.

 

•               Kycon will make every effort to inform customers of discontinuing products and will ensure that our website reflects this information.
