•               All RoHS parts will have a drawing which clearly marks it as RoHS compliant.

 

•               In addition customers can download a CofC for their records showing that we comply

 

•               General Solder profiles are noted here. If there are specific questions related to your process please contact Kycon sales

 

•               Plating used will be pure tin. Kycon will specify by series whether it is matte or bright tin - products that require something other than what we offer will be considered specials and may be subject to minimum purchase quantities

 

•               Customers should be aware that some product which currently use PBT plastic may not be suitable in Lead Free solder processes depending on flux, etc. and may require a high temp product as a replacement

 

•               Kycon will post on the website listings of products which are no longer available in non-RoHS configuration. RoHS parts will perform in tin/lead solder processes and can be used if older part is no longer available. Kycon will make every effort to ensure that the market is notified as quickly as we can.

 

•               For new designs Kycon encourages customers to use RoHS compliant parts as they will be available indefinitely once introduced
