San Jose, CA - Kycon now offers a DC power jack with LED. The LED can be custom made to show either one or two colors of choice. The Kycon LED power jack is specially designed for applications where it is necessary to show that power is being supplied to the device through the power jack.
Usage applications of the LED jack from Kycon include indication of power status or power source such as battery or DC power. Product applications for both types include portable devices such as laptop computers, CD players, and digital cameras. Depending on the PCB circuitry, the LEDs can be wired to be either dependent or independent from plug insertion.
This through-hole right angle power jack with LEDs from Kycon is UL94V-0 rated, made of black PBT thermoplastic and rated to 2.5 Amps at 24V DC. The connector is 12.70mm in height and available with 1.3mm center pin.
