As all of Kycon’s IEEE 1394 connectors, this fully shielded version will help to improve the data transfer from personal computers to computer peripherals and digital consumer audio/video equipment such as digital cameras and video recorders. The KFWS-SMTBS series is rated up to 400 Mbps, has tin/nickel plated solder tails and gold plating on the contact area.

1394 Serial Bus connectors to also include a fully shielded version. The
KFWS-SMTBS from Kycon has added back shield to prevent problems associated with
EMI/RFI transmissions. The body is available in either black or white PA6T high
temperature thermoplastic.
